What wireless internet service provider would you recommend?

ilovecats asked:

My roommate just cut the internet off, and left it up to me to find a new provider. I don’t know anything about internet service providers, but I do all of my work online from home and need a reiable high speed connection.

We were using wireless that cost $40 a month, but one of my friends said I could find wireless for less than that. I’m not sure about providers. Could you recommend some to me?

I’ve had Cox for the longest and I’ve been very happy with their service. There are different packages to choose from - depending on which speed you want to go with.

If you happen to live in Portland, Oregon, I’d go with WiMax from Clear. It is superfast high-speed, its affordable, and you can pretty much walk around anywhere in the metro area with your laptop & have access. It will be coming to other cities soon too.
